With close to 3,000 delegates set to descend upon the Sydney International Convention Centre for the 3 Day USANA Asia Pacific Convention, USANA was looking for a conference entertainment partner with the creative flair & experience to ensure their event would be a success.

For many of the delegates the convention in Sydney at the ICC was the trip of a lifetime. With only a month’s lead time USANA partnered with Sydney based Gaia Rhythm Events to fine-tune, develop and present the conference entertainment.

For Gaia Rhythm Events it was an exciting opportunity, although with nine separate acts to perfect, our clients production manager in a different time zone, delegates with differing cultural sensitivities to cater to, thirty five performers to co ordinate, rehearsals and late nights working through logistics and OHS requirements the pressure was on!

A diverse range of conference entertainment acts supported brand initiatives and the “Living the Dream’ theme:

• Convention opening act incorporated contemporary dancers, Pop singer, aboriginal dancers, a didgeridoo player & song man with Maori Haka performers.
• Day two opened with the specially choreographed Break Jammer Act, a scintillating acrobatic focused routine featuring high level team acrobatics and tumbling, stunts, jaw dropping break-dance in a performance that had to be seen to be believed!
• The Awards ceremony performances showcased the Gaia Rhythm band with string section, Mongolian throat singer, Gaiiya the world pop opera singer with aerialists, adagio acrobats and an acrobatic fire dancing trio providing an awe inspiring visual feast!

The event was a resounding success, here our clients feedback:
