The hills are alive with the sound of a power tool… not really something you hear in the middle of an opera; instead, this is event entertainment with a bang, and a bump, and a grind!

 

Originally developed for Makita Power Tools’ 100-year anniversary gala dinner, this stage show incorporates percussion sections featuring power tools like impact drivers, sanding discs, a chainsaw, and lawn mowers, all accompanied by keyboards to produce a hybrid industrial sound. The music is coupled with high-level acrobatics, taiko-styled percussion, and opera vocals. A sight for the eyes and a real treat for the ears.

This stage show act is an innovative way to invigorate guests mid-conference or to break the ice as an event opener! The hills won’t be the only thing alive when the Power Tool Opera is done.
